Liverpool-Newcastle

Unfortunately the pick I posted in my previous post has been an another loss. Now it is a little of explanation why I made this pick.

Liverpool have won 3 to 1 against Newcastle being underdogs that is why the odds on double chance X2 were way over evens. They have Craig Bellamy as he scored twice along with Steven Gerrard adding a third goal. Gerrrard came back to the team after the long-term injury out of the bench as a substitute and made the difference. Andy Carrol was great as well but unfortunate to add one more to his tally. The unexpected Newcastle goal was a present from Liverpool's Daniel Agger as he gifted them an own goal. Hosts didn't have to wait long for an equalizer and it came before the break when Bellamy met his team-mate's cross.
Before this game I was thinking that Liverpool started to go further in crisis after two draws with the likes of Wigan and Blackburn. Apart from that Liverpool won just three games out of nine in front of their own crowd. On the other hand Newcastle were blooming after winning away to Bolton. Newcastle boss Alan Pardew wanted to make the best use out of their best scorer Demba Ba who leaves to the Africa Cup of Nations in January. Somehow he couldn't make it for his team this time.
Next Newcastle match is an away game at Old Trafford in Manchester and Liverpool play away at Manchester too but they are going to face City.
